In conjunction with Meshed Media and Creative Alliance, Substrakt created Jobplot, an online resource for profiling and managing creative talent in the West Midlands. Users can register their skills and build a profile, search for career opportunities or advertise jobs, as well as communicating with other users via the site.
Substrakt developed the Jobplot brand to signify growth and progression and draw attention to the digital and creative talent itself by using clean, open space and clear navigation. We wanted it to be memorable for its design as well as its function.
Jobplot has been designed to be instantly familiar.
The team produced a GUI that provide an appropriate user journey dependent on the nature of your visit to the site, mapping each possible outcome to ensure that visitors always found what they required.
Jobplot was built using Dolphy, a multisite content management system written in Django.
